About Rhythmic Gymnastics

Rhythmic gymnastics originated in Europe and was officially included as a competitive event in the Summer Olympics in 1984.

Rhythmic gymnastics involves both freehand movements and the use of five apparatuses: rope, hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon. However, the rope was later removed from major competitions in the World Championships.
